The British Schools Foundation Art Competition 2018
The British Schools Foundation (BSF) Art Competition 2018.
Friday, March 9, 2018
Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils were once again invited to take part in the annual The British Schools Foundation (BSF) Art Competition. This year’s themes were abstract animals and insects. Students were able to choose from a range of mediums and styles to create their abstract pieces. There were many wonderful entries, making the job of the The British School of Brasilia (BSB) judges extraordinarily hard. We had three runners up from each phase; Ana Luisa de Andrada Pimenta Mendlovitz - Year 1, Giulia de Sá Azeredo - Year 3, and Davi de Lima Castro - Year 5, who all submitted very notable pieces. However, our winners, who will have their work sent to BSF head office to compete with young artists from around the world are: Carolina Cyst Frota de Oliveira - Year 1, Gabriela Targino Queiroz Velloso Borges Ribeiro - Year 4 and Helena Costa Pappas - Year 5. Huge congratulations to all our winners and we will be keeping our fingers crossed for you in the next stage of the competition.
