World Book Day 2024

On the 3rd of March, 2024, we celebrated World Book Day (WBD). WBD is a chance to celebrate literacy and get children excited about reading and creating stories. On WBD, everything was literacy based from the moment the pupils arrived at school to the moment they left. Children got to learn about stories, illustrate and write their own. They were visited by different teachers across the school which added to their excitement. They made comics, poems, illustrations, mini novels and much more. They also dressed up as their favourite book characters for the day. As always, we had a musical 'catwalk' to show off their outfits and a competition for the best homemade costumes of the year. There were some absolutely superb outfits!
