BSB Official School Opening

On Sunday 2nd October, The British School of Brasilia (BSB) was officially opened by His Excellency, Alex Ellis, British Ambassador to Brazil.

Teachers, families, friends and esteemed members of our wider school community gathered onsite to mark and celebrate the momentous occasion.

We were also privileged to hear from our special guest speakers including Major Roberto Lobato Marques whom, along with his team, have committed to supporting and help further safeguard our school. Professor Fábio Pereira de Sousa and Professor Marcos Pacco, both from the Brazilian Ministry of Education, also spoke during the ceremony about their commitment to education and their endorsement of our school. Both gentlemen had been instrumental in supporting the school during the lead up to our opening.

The BSB choir then closed the ceremony with their magnificent, premier performance for parents and dignitaries. It was a fantastic morning and the perfect way to officially bring together the BSB community.
