School Service 2022

The British School of Brasilia has re-launched the School Service program. School services are offered to students from Years 3 to 10 to help improve their school community in a creative and active way. This year, the options include volleyball, football, basketball, gardening, content creators, choir & band and leadership. Our most popular school service activity is volleyball, in volleyball students learn the basic rules/ techniques and learn great sportsmanship skills. The school has now a new basketball court which will provide the students looking to do basketball as a school service with some of the best services the school has to offer. 

This year, we have also introduced fundamental skills for our Year 1 and 2 pupils. This aims to give them the opportunity to improve their sport, music and academic skills ready to make an informed choice about their School Service project in Year 3. KS1 have shown great enthusiasm about this and have already got stuck into volleyball and gardening skills.
