Explaining School Service.

The British School of Brasilia (BSB) started this year a new project that is named School Service. In School Service, students are offered different options for activities to improve our school environment and create a sense of care and unity inside our school community. The options were the "Newsletter", in which students created articles regarding school life, "Football", to create a team for interschool championships, "Gardening", to grow pretty and useful vegetables, and others.

One of the most popular was definitely volleyball! In volleyball, students learn about the main rules, discuss best strategies and have a great time playing in teams, improving their bonding with their colleagues. We chose a pupil from Year 3 to discuss her opinion about this School Service. She plays volleyball and she gave her opinions about this activity.

"I like playing volleyball, because I like to play with teams and hang out with friends. I also like to try to catch the ball! Moreover, I think volleyball is a great sport mainly because I can communicate with others."
