On our final day before the Carnival holidays, BSB hosted their very own House Carnival competition.
Each House - among Normans, Romans, Saxons and Vikings - chose their theme and music and then spent four weeks preparing dances, costumes, floats and instruments to use in their Carnival parade.
The students had great fun watching and cheering for each House as they showed off their hard work around our very own Samba Drome. Houses were judged on their effort and presentation and bonus points were awarded for the most supportive House, the students who showed good sportsmanship and cheered for their competitors.
It was a close call but the Vikings with their Frevo themed parade, including handmade umbrellas and coordinated dance moves, were victorious! A huge well done to all involved, both staff and students, for making such a successful BSB Carnival.
