Festa Junina

On Saturday 10th June, BSB hosted our first Festa Junina celebration for all our families and the wider community in the beautiful Brasilia sunshine.

The event was organised by our wonderful parent EFG (Events and Fundraising Group) and incorporated many Brazilian traditions. The children took part in a wide variety of Brazilian games and activities before buying and eating delicious corn based treats, pastries and cakes.

At various intervals throughout the day, the crowd was wowed by stunning dances performed by BSB children from all of the different year groups. These dances were performed wearing full, traditional Festa Junina costumes, and were choreographed by our very own Mr Alves.
