The BSB community came together once again for our annual Christmas Fayre.

On Saturday 7th December the BSB community came together once again for our annual Christmas Fayre. This event really encapsulated the spirit of Christmas; bringing plenty of fun, laughter, and enchantment to all. We received a special visit from Santa and two of his helpers as well as a local choir group. Our Christmas Market saw lots of new vendors selling crafts and delicious treats, while Houses and BSB staff ensured there were plenty of games for all the family to enjoy. Needless to say, the Roman’s ‘Sponge the Teacher’ and the Vikings ‘Pie Face’ were particular highlights!

The Grand Raffle once again boasted fantastic prizes from restaurant, gym and indoor skydiving vouchers to designer clothing and a widescreen television! For the first time, this year also saw the inclusion of a silent auction with the aim to share exciting experiences including the opportunity to become the Headteacher for a morning.

Aside from bringing lots of fun, this year's event raised over R$10,000 for charity! More than R$3,000 of this was raised by the House initiatives led by BSB pupils - a very commendable effort indeed.
This has been our most successful charity event yet and I would like to congratulate and thank our brilliant EFG board members for bringing together such a fantastic event.
Furthermore, I would like to thank the staff, parent volunteers, vendors and our raffle donors and auction donors for your time, generosity and commitment to supporting this event.
