BSB's Got Talent 2021
A record number of pupils entered this year’s BSB’s Got Talent competition, making the audition and shortling process incredibly difficult. The range of talents put forward really set the scene for a brilliantly diverse final. Entries included readings from Shakespeare, comedy sketches, footballing and jump rope skills, singing, dancing, and rock bands.
With 13 finalists selected, our guest adjudicators Ms Fernandes and Ms Binicheski had the arduous task to award 3rd, 2nd and 1st place to these entries based on their quality, level of difficulty and entertainment value. However, for the first time ever, they were not alone in this process and our pupil audience also placed their votes for favourite entry.
In the end, the following entrants were selected best in show for 2021:
3rd place - Seo Yoon Cho, Year 4, Ribbon Dance
2nd place - Aoi Negishi, Year 2B, Violin Solo
1st Place - Ana Luísa de Andrada Pimenta Mendlovitz, Year 4, Oil Painting
One of the many highlights from the event was the sportsmanship displayed by our competitors, as, all the way from the preliminary auditions, participants provided peers with continued support and applause. Once again, The British School of Brasilia (BSB) students prove that hard work can be fun, and friendship and competition can be a wonderful blend!
