Ms Narayana Fernandes

In my earlier roles, I taught EAL in a Brazilian bilingual school, where I not only enhanced my proficiency but also developed innovative methodologies such as CLIL ( Content and Language Integrated Learning) and UbD (Understanding by Design). My commitment to education led me to assist young learners as a Teaching Assistant in a Binacional Center in Brasilia during my course at UnB. This opportunity further solidified my passion for guiding learning. I taught on an EAL course in Brasilia for different levels and ages. Additionally, I have instructed students of all ages to play instruments over a span of six years. At The British School of Brasilia, I was privileged to contribute as a Teacher's Assistant for a two-week-period. This experience guided me to assume a more comprehensive role, encompassing the instruction of EAL across the school since 2021. My journey in Education continues to be defined by dedication, growth, and an enthusiasm for new experiences in teaching. I have been passionate about music, playing violin since age 10, singing and performing in a band. I love exploring new places, cultures, and languages - currently I am learning French and Spanish. My free time is devoted to studying for broader knowledge.
