Qualifications:
- BA Honours (Bachelor of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences) Psychology and Educational Development from Nottingham Trent University. - PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate of Education) Primary from Nottingham Trent University.
My professional career began in the UK where I worked for a number of years in Primary schools. Since 2010, I have worked in international schools in Mexico, Portugal and Brazil. These roles have afforded me to work as a leader across subjects and phases, Deputy Head of School and Headteacher. My educational philosophy centres around developing the whole child, preparing students for a rapidly changing world. I am a passionate educator and thoroughly enjoy working with children and families from all over the world. I have lived in Brazil since 2014 and am happy to call it home. Outside of school, my passion is horse-riding. I have a horse and train with her each week. We compete in jumping competitions. I love the outdoors and taking my dog on long walks in the countryside. I enjoy watching Italian football and support AC Milan. I am a big fan of the Harry Potter books, however, my favourite book of all time is The Witches by Roald Dahl.
