As an important part of Physical Education, having broad motor experiences is essential to provide good development for a child. Looking for enrichment opportunities for our students, Mr. Eion Vaughan and Mr. Eoin Brennan, Irish teachers from the GoGaelic team, hosted a workshop where students from Years 2, 3 and 4 had the opportunity to join in and learn about one of Ireland’s most unique cultural features: its traditional games such as Gaelic Football and Hurling.

Intermediated by Ms. Janice McGann, from the Embassy of Ireland in Brazil, Mr. Vaughan and Mr. Brennan brought us the opportunity to learn about the Irish culture, discover more about the sports and have a unique experience practicing techniques and skills to play different games.

We want to say a huge thank you for the Embassy of Ireland and the GoGaelic team who provided us this amazing chance to learn and experience their traditional sports.
