The British School of Brasilia (BSB) family and friends came along to support our Festa Junina party on Saturday 9th June 2018 - we hope you all had fun! We have managed to collect a huge pile of food which will be donated to a local pedagogical centre to support the centre itself and the families who attend.
In addition to the food donations, we also managed to raise nearly R$ 3,000 BRL to support other charity initiatives and the Events and Fundraising Group (EFG) events next year, the Student Council cake stall raised a further R$ 684 BRL. They will meet over the next two weeks to decide which charities they would like to support.
I hope you will join us in congratulating the EFG in organising such a fabulous event - what a great way to end a very successful year! There were also numerous parent helpers working to buy resources, decorate the school and of course provide delicious cakes. On behalf of all the team at BSB, we would like to express our sincerest thanks to everyone involved - we could not have done it without you!
